Born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, Brandon Faulcon, the 31-year-old virtual mall owner, is now ready to change the shopping industry by creating an interactive e-commerce gaming system. Born into a family of 2 brothers and 1 sister, he grew up as the middle child.
Brandon joined the United States Marine Corps in 2008 where he deployed to Afghanistan in 2010, the same year his daughter Karmen Faulcon (founder of iKon Mall) was born. Since his return home from deployment, Brandon has been diagnosed with PTSD, Anxiety, and Sleep Apnea. While battling these disabilities, he has helped lead the way for other veterans by showing the fight is never over, but that is no reason to feel defeated.
After his 8 years of service, Brandon moved to DC to work in the federal government until his daughter came up with a business venture called “iKon Mall”. He then moved in with a roommate to save money to build this new shopping platform for small businesses.
In one year, Brandon has created iKon Mall while saving and investing over $30,000 in his 10-year-old daughter’s dream. iKon Mall is now ready to launch at the end of July.
