What do wisdom, entrepreneurship, and TACOS have in common?
Dr. Bill Lampton and I are speaking with Chess Britt about what his retirement from a 36-year career with Primerica looks like, the impact that career had on his first book “Seek to Be Wise,” the book he’s currently writing, and how he’s helping other entrepreneurs.
Chess grew up in a small town in rural Georgia.
Chess is a 1978 graduate of the University of Georgia, and he worked in various leadership roles for Primerica, the largest financial services marketing organization in North America, for more than 36 years. He served as the company’s chief marketing officer from 2010 to June 2018. His advice and wisdom have been sought throughout his career by CEOs, executives, highly successful members of the sales force, the management team, employees, and their representatives.
Chess has spent a lifetime studying successful people from all walks of life. He believes his observations, which have proven to be invaluable in his own journey, will help his readers become better versions of who they were meant to be, no matter what career or life path they are on.
Manny and Katie from El Tacoman gave new meaning to “Taco Tuesday” at the studio this week — and it was DELICIOUS!
Their food truck business not only survived the pandemic, but it is also thriving thanks to their creativity and willingness to think outside the box.
From California to Georgia, from bouncer to El Tacoman, from employee to entrepreneur, Manny and Katie are definitely El Rey and La Reina of Mexican Street Food in our local North GA area.
