Gwinnett Place’s commercial properties form the central business district of Gwinnett County, Georgia — a focal point for retail, office, shopping, dining and hospitality experiences. The Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District (GPCID) is a self-taxing district organized in March 2005 comprising 239 commercial properties. The mission of GPCID is to enhance the economic vitality of Gwinnett’s central business district by strengthening the area’s role as the center of commercial activity. They work toward their mission through initiatives that improve traffic flow, increase pedestrian access, maintain community safety and increase the desirability of property redevelopment.
