Combining a love for flight, history, space and social enterprise, David Roman, Founder of SpiritVen, is all about creating unforgettable endeavors, exhibits, and events with aviation, education and technology to close the talent gap and inspire pioneers.
SpiritVen works with its clients and collaborative partners to craft meaningful stories that draw the right pioneers to bring more innovation, trade and prosperity worldwide. Through the creation of aircraft, films, mobile apps and experience tours, David and his partners aim to advance aviation, empower education, and transform technology.
Most recently, David helped coordinate a high-altitude weather balloon launch with eclipse to capture a 360-degree video from about 100,000 feet in the air. The event took place just outside of Vale, hoping to get video of the Earth during the eclipse. Joseph Lazukin with Space Unbound was the initial impetus and sponsor for this project; and, Mike Fleeman with the LGF Foundation contributed the meteor. This collaborative and unique event is a great example of how these organizations come together. See balloon eclipse launch article for more information.
