BRX Pro Tip: Ideal Studio Partner Profile Transcript
Stone Payton: [00:00:00] Welcome back to Business RadioX Pro Tips. Stone Payton and Lee Kantor here with you. In this session, Lee, I’d like to talk a little bit about the character traits, the type of person, the ideal profile, if you will, for the studio partner. What are we looking for? What’s going to make for a successful studio partner in our system?
Lee Kantor: [00:00:24] Characteristics, I think, of successful studio partners are they have a heart for business, and they believe it’s important to support the business community. Relationships are important to them. They like being a connector. They like being the one that brings disparate groups together. They resonate with the idea of a purpose-driven company, you know, some of the conscious capitalism beliefs, some of the servant leadership beliefs, some of the B Corp beliefs. Those all makes sense to them. It resonates. They’re nice people. They’re givers, not takers. They’re helpful. They want to leave a legacy. They’re generous. They want to make an impact. Maybe they’re frustrated in their current work, or they don’t feel they’re making enough of an impact. Those are some of the qualities, I think, that our studio partners have, and we’ll have as we move forward.
Stone Payton: [00:01:19] I agree. And, I think, we see all those traits in our existing studio partners. And I think we’re so blessed to have those people in our circle and to be part of their circle. And so, I’m very excited as we continue to grow. But I do think, you know, we kind of need to be diligent because this business is very attractive. And I think we owe it to our potential studio partner candidates and to ourselves to — you know, I hate to use the word, but maybe, you know, to kind of police that a little bit and make sure that we’re bringing people into the fold, at least, that close to the center of the fold that really do fit this criteria, don’t you?
Lee Kantor: [00:01:57] Right. As we build this tribe, you know, them believing what we believe is an important component as we grow this.
Stone Payton: [00:02:02] Absolutely.
